What does our 'Safe and Sound boating' concept entail?

With 'Safe and Sound Boating' we want to give you the possibility to cancel 48 hours before the start of your boating holiday (15.00). This applies to new bookings that take place on or before the 29th of June 2020. If you cancel, you can change the boating holiday to a later date in the season or you can get a booking credit that you can use for a future holiday. This booking credit can be redeemed for a boating holiday in 2020 or 2021 depending on availability. We hope that this will give you the confidence to continue to book with Natural Yachts.

For which vacation does 'Safe and Sound Boating' apply?

'Safe and Sound Boating' applies to boating holidays with a starting date on or before 29 June 2020 that are booked 17 March 2020 or later.

How long will I have to redeem my booking credit?

All booking credits must be redeemed against boating holidays that end/return no later than the 28th of June 2021.

How do I cancel or move my booking?

This can be done by e-mail: charter@naturalyachts.com
Up to 48 hours before the start of your boating holiday (15.00).

What happens if there is a difference in price between the credit I receive and the holiday I want to book next?

If your new holiday is cheaper, we will refund the difference. If it is more, you will need to pay the additional cost.

Can I use my booking credit on all boats in the fleet of Natural Yachts?

You can redeem your booking credit on all boats in the fleet of Natural Yachts. So it doesn't matter which boat you booked previously.

Are the optional options also included in the booking credit in the case of cancellation?

The booking credit consists of the costs already paid, which also includes the optional options if you have selected these.

If my situation changes within 48 hours before the start of the boating holiday, can I still cancel?

If there is a change in your situation within 48 hours before the start of the boating holiday, you can still use 'Safe and Sound Boating' policy if you meet the following criteria:

- Your Government’s Foreign Office advises against ‘all‘ or ‘all but essential travel‘ there.
- There is a border closure or localised lockdown (either at my destination or in my home country) prevents me from leaving or getting there.
- My flight stops in an affected area that is deemed unsafe and thus it is cancelled.
- I, or a member of my party, contract a confirmed case of Coronavirus.
- I am specifically advised or instructed to self-quarantine, or put into quarantine by the authorities

My booking is after June 29 or I want to book after June 29, where can I count on?

We will of course continue to monitor developments and update our policies if and when necessary. As it stands at the moment, you can continue to book or look forward to your vacation after June 29, 2020, safe in the knowledge that – if any of the follow reasons prevent you from traveling to your destination either now or in the future, our ‘Safe and Sound Boating’ policy will still apply.

What else do I have to take into account?

There is no reason at this point in time to avoid or cancel holidays. We are in close contact with the local health authorities (GGD), the branch organisation and local authorities, which are keeping us up to date of (local) developments with regard to the virus.

In addition – as you have become accustomed to from us – we will ensure excellent hygiene is in place at our location. The main mode of transmission of the virus is through respiratory droplets that can be produced by sneezing and coughing, and which briefly hang in the air. The virus does not survive for long outside of the body. Anyone not displaying any symptoms does not represent a great risk of contamination for others. Naturally we will follow developments very closely, and adhere to the guidelines provided by the RIVM (National Institute for Public Health and the Environment), with a particular focus on the following:

The cleaning of the common lounge area and other objects that people touch with their hands, such as light switches, bedside tables and door handles/knobs, is entirely conducted using professional methods.

The laundering of bed linen takes place in a professional manner (at a temperature of over 60 degrees), whereby viruses cannot survive.

To summarize; you will not incur any extra risk during your residence and/or overnight stay, and can enjoy your time here in a carefree manner.

What steps can you yourself take?

It is important to follow the standard measures that are applicable in the event of a ‘normal’ flu and cold, namely:

A greeting in another manner other than a handshake, hug or kiss is fine;

Wash your hands regularly for longer than 25 seconds with soap and water;

Cough and sneeze into a paper tissue, or into the inside of your elbow;
Use paper tissues and dispose of them afterwards;

Report anybody who has become ill by telephoning your physician and notifying Natural Yachts;
