What is electric boating?
Electric boating is the solution for emission-free boating. The 100% electric propulsion system consists of an electric motor and a battery pack. The battery pack can be recharged with shore power. How long you can use the electric propulsion depends on the size of the battery pack. We will determine the electric propulsion according to your sailing area, sailing profile and your special wishes. We will be happy to advise you about the different possibilities.
Electric boating is comfortable The big advantage of electric boating is of course the peace and quiet on board, you enjoy the sounds of nature and the silence. So you can optimally enjoy the outdoors and each other. You can chat while sailing and you will not be overruled by the sound of the engine. In addition, an electric motor produces no emissions, so you will not be in the air of the exhaust fumes. Electric sailing is extremely comfortable and good for the environment.
The Nexus Revo 870 Convertible Electric
The Nexus Revo 870 is one of the motorboats in the range of our zero emission line yachts. The Nexus Revo 870 motorboat is 100% electrically powered by an efficient permanent magnet E-motor. The power of the E-motor is adjustable between 4 - 10 kW, depending on the customer's wishes.
The battery pack is easy to charge with shore power. Shore power is available at most berths and in most harbours. With the standard battery pack you can boat up to 6 to 8 hours per day, this is expandable according to your wishes. This means that you can easily make a daytrip of 50 to 75 kilometres where you can visit different cities or lakes. Experience has shown that it is not necessary to connect to the shore power every night as you can connect to the shore power when visiting a village.
Electric hotel function The hotel function of the Nexus Revo 870 can also be electric. This means you can cook on induction (no more gas on board), and you have electric heating, and lighting, etc. on board.
